Are you tired of those notifications to rate and review apps you’ve downloaded from the App Store? Did you know you could turn those off? When you turn them off, you will not longer receive those notifications to rate and review, but you can still rate and review them if you’d like. Just find the app in the App Store to rate or review it. All this setting does is turn off notificaitons. In this video, we’re going to look at how it can prevent an app ratings and review notifications from popping up from an app that you’ve downloaded through the App Store. Let’s go to my Mac. Now, when you download an app from the App Store, we have the App Store here in my dock. When I download an app from the App Store, what the developer can do is ask for any ratings and reviews.

They can see how often this pops up when this post. Well, sometimes this can get a little annoying. Maybe you do not want to leave any feedback. If you want to leave feedback, you can just go to their website and leave feedback through there. What you want to do is just remove all of those notifications from any app that you’ve downloaded through the App Store.

You want to remove any of those notifications for reviews and ratings? Well, we can easily do that through our App Store preferences. So to do that, I click on this to open it up and then we need to go to our App Store preferences. I go up under the App Store here, and then we go over to preferences. We have a new window that opens up and what we need to do is go down to the bottom here.

And you’re going to see in app ratings and reviews, you can see that it is checked by default. So in this has checked or selected. What developers can do is ask for any ratings and reviews through their. If you do not want to have that, all you have to do is just de-select this. And now when I close this, any app that I’ve downloaded through the App Store will be prevented from asking me for any ratings and reviews.

I will no longer see any of those notifications. So now, if I want to give them any ratings and reviews, I’m going to have to do it manually. I can go to the App Store and still leave a rating and review, but I just have to go and find the app in the App Store. I will no longer receive those notifications asking me for any ratings and reviews.

So if you’re getting tired from those notifications where developers ask you for ratings and reviews, all you need to do is just go to your App Store preferences on. And then make sure that the NF ratings and refuse as deselected once you de-select, that you’ll no longer receive any notifications for ratings and reviews from developers of apps that you’ve downloaded through the App Store.

So that’s how you can prevent those notifications for ratings and reviews from popping up on your Mac.
