Learn how to sort your items in a reminders on the iPhone list by due date or creation date, or by priority or title.
In iOS 14.5, Apple introduced sorting in the Reminders app on the iPhone. You can now sort by creation date, due date, priority, or title. See how to sort your reminders in the Reminders app on the iPhone in this video.

In this video, I will show you how you can sort your reminders in the Reminders app on the iPhone. This is something new that Apple added with iOS version 14.5. So if you haven’t updated your iPhone in a while, you may need to update it to see this new feature. Let’s see how you sort your reminders. Let’s go to my iPhone.
Let’s open up my Reminders here. So I’m looking at my Groceries List. What I would like to do is I would like to sort this. To sort this, what we do is we go to our ellipsis in the upper right-hand corner. This is our more button. When I tap on it, you’re going to see Sort By. Again, this was added in version 14.5 iOS 14.5. I tap on it. We have a new menu that pops up, and from here, I’m able to see how I want to sort it. So let’s sort of by Title, I go down to Title here, and it just resorted those by Title. I want to sort it by date. I go back up to more, tap on it. I tap on Sort By, and I can choose from Due Date or Creation Date. I don’t have any due dates on these, so let’s go with Creation Date. And now just resorted those.
So that’s how we can sort our reminders in the Reminders app. Basically, all we have to do is open up our list that we want to sort; we go to the more button in the upper right-hand corner, the three dots, the ellipsis. Tap on Sort By, and then select how we want to sort them.
So that’s how we sort our reminders and the Reminders app on the iPhone.
