Learn how to add a reminder while looking at all your Reminders Lists on the iPad.

Apple introduced the ability to add reminders to any reminders list while looking at all of your lists. You no longer need to select a specific list before adding a reminder. While looking at all of your lists in the Reminders app, you’ll see ‘+’ below each list, Tap on the ‘+’ to add a reminder to that specific list. In this video, we’re going to take a look at how we can create reminders from the list screen on the iPad. This was introduced with iPadOS 14. Let’s go to my iPad. So I’m in the Reminders app, and I’m looking at all of my reminders. I’m looking at all of my lists. You’re going to see; I have my shopping list here. I have my groceries list here.

What I can do since iPad iOS 14 is to create a reminder straight from this list. To do that, all I have to do is tap on the plus. So when I tap on the plus here below shopping, it will add a new reminder for shopping. So let’s type in here, shoes. I had the keyboard, and now we can see, we have shoes in my shopping list. I want to add groceries. I need coffee. So I tap on the plus, and I type in coffee. I hide the keyboard, and now coffee is in my groceries.

So I no longer have to go into a specific list here. To create a new reminder. I can do that while looking at all of my reminders. So that’s how we add reminders from our lists view in the iPad when reviewing all of our reminders lists; we just tap on the plus below the list to add a reminder to that particular list. So that’s how we add reminders from the list view on the iPad.
