With iOS 15, you can now pull to refresh a webpage instead of finding and tapping on the refresh icon. This makes it real easy to refresh a webpage without even looking at your iPhone, you just swipe down from the top. See how you can now pull to refresh webpages in this video for Safari on the iPhone.

Video TranscriptIn this video, I’m going to show you a new way to refresh your pages in Safari on the iPhone. We can now use pull to refresh. This was introduced with iOS 15. Let’s take a quick look at pull to refresh in Safari. Let’s go to my iPhone.

So I’m looking at my webpage here, and if I wanted to refresh, what I would normally do is just tap on the refresh icon here. I tap on it. It refreshes the page. If this address bar was located at the top. How do we get it to the top? We tap on the double A’s and then we go and Show the Top Address Bar. I want to refresh this, coming from iOS 14, what you would do is you would tap on the refresh icon again.

But now what we can do is we can pull to refresh. Again, this was introduced with iOS 15. All I have to do is just pull down on the webpage here and you’re going to see the little icon, and it refreshes it. It works the same way with the address bar down at the bottom. I tap on the double A’s. I go on Show my Bottom Tab Bar. I want to refresh. When I refresh, you’re going to see the little icon here and it is refreshing that page.

So that is now how we can refresh our web pages in Safari. We can still tap on the icon, but the easiest way is to just pull down. When we pull down, Safari will refresh our page.

So that’s how we can refresh our web pages in Safari on the iPhone.
