Learn how to add Time Machine to your Mac’s Menu Bar.
In this lesson on backing up your Mac, I show you to add Time Machine to the Mac’s Menu Bar. When you do this, you have easy access to doing a manual backup, instead of waiting for Time Machine’s scheduled backup. You can also see when the last time your Mac was backed up and the status of the backup, if it is in the middle of a backup. This is also where you enter Time Machine to restore files that have been backed up. See how to add Time Machine to the Menu Bar on the Mac, and the different options you have with it in the Menu Bar, in this video for Backing up your Mac with Time Machine.
