Join me in my class on what is new in macOS Monterey! Apple introduced a new macOS this past fall, and even though it looks similar to Big Sur, Apple added some great new features! A few I use on a daily basis. With macOS Monterey you can add tags to Notes and Reminders, create quick notes, and schedule FaceTime calls as well has invite people who are not on Apple devices to a FaceTime Call. But also Apple added some smaller features, but much welcome features. This includes showing the menu bar while working with an app in full screen, adding the folder icon back to Finder windows (I really welcomed this back!), and even changing the color of the cursor. I going over these features and more in this class.
Some of what I cover include:
- Scheduling FaceTime Calls
- Creating links for FaceTime calls so anyone can join (including people who are not on an Apple device)
- Photo Collections in Messages
- Shared with you
- Tab Groups in Safari
- Focus Mode
- Quick Notes and Tags in Notes
- Airplay to a Mac
- And a few other smaller items including showing folder icons in a Finder Window and changing the color of the cursor
NOTE: The Audio dropped (due to my error) during the chapter introductions. The audio comes back for any of my demonstrations though, you just miss out on my introductions. Sorry about that!
