Do you have a question about your Mac, iPad, iPhone, or other Apple device? These webinars are a great place to ask! They are usually formatted as an AMA or Ask Me Anything and are held on a regular basis.
We had another great webinar! Thanks to everyone who was able to join us! This one went for about an hour and a half, and as always, we covered numerous subjects. This includes microphone basics and the different options available with some external mics. I also talked about privacy options and the new privacy report in Safari, as well as the search engine DuckDuckGo. This is a search engine that respects your privacy more than some of the others. I quote “We don’t store your personal info. We don’t follow you around with ads. We don’t track you. Ever.” I had a member ask about exporting gmail messages, so that lead to a conversation on mail and how it is stored in mboxes. I also demonstrated how to upload files to a website on the iPhone.
