    Learn how long Time Machine keep backups of your Mac.

    In this lesson on backing up your Mac, I show you were you can find how long Time Machine keeps backups. In a nutshell, Time Machine keeps hourly backups for 24 hours, after that it keep daily backups for a month. It then keeps weekly backups. How long does it keep these backups? until Time machine runs out of space, it will then delete the oldest backup to make room for the newest backup.
